Condolence: What a delight it was to see his smiling face in the morning;taking care of “Flyboy “ was the best part of my day! I will miss our morning coffee and cookies but I will treasure my memories of him. I can’t help but giggle when I think of him tapping his feet to his favorite song Annie doesn’t live here anymore by Guy Lombardo..oh my Flyboy didn’t we have some good times.Thank you for being a ray of sunshine in my life.

Condolence From: brother Paul {Pavlo}

Condolence: We know that Johns' last few years were good years because of Marie. She was always at his side, loving, nurturing, prodding at times {physical therapy}to do his exercises, helping him along, always encouraging him to the next step. She loved him, & he loved her. So it should be, & it was.
Paul & I will always cherish our "lunches" with John & Marie, & Mary & DAVE. Two brothers & a sister laughing over old times together. Paul, & I think our boys Paul & Brett sang some Ukrainian songs to John over the phone recently. They loved it, & I know John really got a kick out of it.
So family, take heart, you are not the only ones who mourn. BUT, we also remember John,
and with great joy. Paul & Marusia & boys

Condolence From: Emily Kenderdine RN from 5 Lenfest East

Condolence: John was such a kind and pleasant man. I took care of him in the hospital and he greeted everyone so cheerfully whenever someone walked in the room. I'm so saddened to hear this news of his passing. It was so sudden but now he is an angel watching over all of us and is at peace now. I'm so sorry to his wife and son who were with him at the bedside when I took care of him and to the rest of his family for their loss.
