Obituary for Grace L. Crosson

Grace was born to Arthur & Grace Laws in Philadelphia, PA on October 20, 1921. A child of the depression, she was the only daughter among five brothers. Grace was a proud independent woman. She worked long hours for many years to keep her family together. One of her proudest moments as serving as the youngest hostess, at the age of 15, at the 1936 Democratic Convention in Philadelphia. She worked along side her son Tom ( Tuck ) at Nell Printing for many years. She was a lover of animals and enjoyed the company of her many cats throughout the years. Grace was a supporter of many animal welfare organizations , including Best Friends Animal Society. She was an avid reader in her younger days. Among her joys in life were her grandchildren. Known to all as " Wow ", a name bestowed upon her by her first granddaughter, Suzy. That name stuck forever, and she was known as " Wow " to all of her grandchildren and to all who loved her.. Grace was the proud mother of Tuck ( Tom ) Crosson ( Marie rust ), Sue ( Mark ) Fisher, and Kathy Kelly ( Fred Perry 0. She was also the mother - in - law of Edward Kelly. Grace leaves behind her grandchildren Suzy ( Jon ) Coffen, Bobby Kelly ( Lisa Joseph ), Jeffrey ( Dena Kelly, David Crosson, Julia ( Josh ) Huntley and Mollie ( Tom ) Engelman. She also leaves behind her great grandchildren Jake, Kendall, Zane, Braydan Samuel, Madelyn Grace and Jalena Adele, as well as many nieces and nephews. Grace will be reunited with her son Tuck , who predeceased her on March 15, 2017. Grace is being laid to rest at a graveside service at Hillside cemetery, 2556 Susquehanna Rd. Roslyn, PA , on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 2 pm. She will be intered alongside her mother and father. May she rest in Peace.
