William J. "Bill" Davies age 80 of Oakford, PA formerly of Levittown, passed away Thursday June 30, 2016 at Saint Mary Medical Center in Langhorne.
Bill was born in Abington, PA, the son of the late Raymond and Lillian (Pine) Davies. He was a graduate of Central Bucks High School and served in the Pennsylvania National Guard.
Bill was a former golf pro at the Northampton Valley Country Club and a former golf instructor at Conwell Egan Roman Catholic High School in Fairless Hills.
He was an avid golfer and enjoyed travelling with his companion Henrietta Credland.
In addition to Henrietta, Bill is survived by his former wife: Rosalind Davies. His children: Bill Davies and his wife Ann Marie, Doug Davies and his wife Charlene and Mark Davies; all of Levittown, PA. His siblings: George Davies of Missouri City, Texas, Lillian Davies Smith of North Wales PA and Barbara Davies Noel of Lakewood, Ohio. Bill also leaves several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Raymond, Herbert, Allen, June and James Davies.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to Bill's visitation on Friday July 8, 2016 from 10 AM followed by his Funeral Service at 11 AM with Pastor Karyn Wiseman of Gloria Dei Church officiating. Interment to follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville.
In lieu of flowers, if so desired, a memorial contribution in Bill's memory may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association 1003 Lincoln Drive West, Marlton, New Jersey 08053.
